JJ de la Torre participated as a speaker en the IBM C-Suite Study Executive Forum
On March 15, 2016, JJ de la Torre participated as speaker in the IBM C-Suite Study Executive Forum, celebrated in The Westcliff, Johannesburg (South Africa).
The report surveyed 5 247 business leaders, mostly face to face, from 21 industries in over 70 countries, and the inputs was analysed by IBM's global team of business strategists, consultants and statisticians.
In this study, IBM has identified three key initiatives to prepare enterprises for the next level of competition: Prepare for digital invaders, create a panoramic perspective, and "be first, be best, or be nowhere". That because the research revealed that the boundaries of competition are becoming more ambiguous.
A few years ago, C-level executives knew who their competition was, and the biggest danger was a new rival entering to the market with a cheaper product or service. But today, the competition is often invisible until it is too late and more companies are looking into new industries that have not been their usual.
